updates on gosireh

remember i was blogging about GOSIREH GON last month?

here're some more pics of the gosireh gon counter, courtesy of NIKOREA. thanks for the heads-up, tomato!

for more information on gosireh gon, you can also check out the WEBPAGE.

whilst browsing through the gosireh site, noticed that there's new developments. remember those OH-SO-GORGEOUS PICS of him checking out the first hwa outlet at nagoya? i truly truly truly love those pics! i know some of you don't like his long hair and/or the fedora, but i heart this particular look! he looked sooooo.... good and healthy during that time! and he was also looking sharp, stylish and very much like a celeb, a superstar. (gotta say the past few public appearances, he's but a shadow of what he used to be like... where's the brilliance and radiance, yong joon-ssi...? please get healthy and really really SHINE again!)

back to HWA, read HERE that they're adding a new HWA restaurant! yay, a second one!

actually... cloudnine has also shared the news with us earlier, HERE...

you know, i've always thought the HWA concept would work, and if he wants to globalise korean food culture, perhaps HWA is an easier concept to launch the world over, as compared to the pricier, trickier and more elaborate gosireh.

gosireh is rich in contents and culture and all that jazz, no doubt, but it's not everyday food. and it's not something that everyone will like at the first taste. you know, i feel to a lot of people, korean food is abit of an acquired taste. but with the HWA concept, it's made the food easier for the non-koreans to embrace. (*bb: incidentally, HWA means fire...)

anyway, seems like despite not fronting the lotte brand for years already, wuri yong joon is still working fairly closely with the lotte people(?) this second HWA outlet is located at the lotte hotel at Tokyo-to Sumida-ku Kinshicho, and is slated to open in early april.

have gotten the details from tomato, thanks!
