and in the beginning of the clip, he actually said he felt shy, haha!
after so many covers, so many photo-shoot, he still feels shy and self-conscious?! actually, yea, he does try to be as professional as can be, but i've always felt he ain't the sort to totally let go. there's always this sense of restraint about him, don't you think? something controlled, something held back...
i suppose that's not exactly a good thing if your profession happens to be an actor, haha! that's why wuri yong joon cannot fake acting. if he has to show anger in a drama, then he really has to get angry. if he has to shed tears, then he really has to feel something and cry... he just can't fake it.
maybe that's why each role he plays takes (or izzit more like sucks?) so much out of him that he can only handle one role at one time, and he takes a longer time than others to get himself out of that role. and so many times, we actually feel and see traces of the character he's playing in him!
remember how we really believe he's jun sahng, the lonely and misunderstood high school student? that he's min hyeong, the bright and talented guy from abroad? that he's frank shin, the ruthless M&A specialist who's so dogged in his love? that he's jaeho, the one who pains us so to watch and yet loves so much that we can't stop watching? in fact, when he was filming HWRL, he was so into his role that he actually felt nauseous and so unwell that he went for an MRI scan!
wait... how on earth did i get to talking about these things...? oh ya, i was going to repost that cosmo BTS clip... i ALWAYS digress!!

and... thanks much much for all your support for my blog. on one hand, i feel kindda glad that some of you are this supportive, but i know that i really am losing blogders. and i know so long as i continue to blog about hyun joong, more and more bae-fans will leave.

I'm sad along with you, and not sure exactly what to add to everyone's words of encouragement except to remind you to follow your passions rather than try to please blogders.
After all, we've seen some come and go over the years and sometimes the going has nothing to do with your choice of topic but rather with blogders' own life balance.
As you wrote yourself, no one has sworn to be faithful to BYJ forever. Many pull back from the active read-everything-you-can phase and either become quiet fans or simply let go. I think the blogders who say they are "leaving" are at that stage of their journey and it's their decision.
It's sad but that's life, especially as the strong glue that held us together is wearing quite thin. That's okay, though. Each one of us should do as she feels is right for her.
Personally, even if I doubt I'll ever be into KHJ (although, never say never, right?), I'm always happy when I see your enthusiasm has been fired up again. I may not read all the KHJ posts (I'm a bit lost with some of the jargon/names still) but I glean a few things here and there and watch some of the clips (or KOTDs). Ha ha, the pedicure "thing" came in handy as a fictitious example recently!
Looking forward to tomorrow!
hi bb! it's been quiet in bae land huh? I kept coming back to your blogs for updates still and i hope you continue to do so though seems like you have a new crush, hehehehe. Can't blame you girl! I just keep wondering when's BYJ ever going to cut that hair and get rid of the Michael Jackson outfit- you know, the hat and the entire ensemble. I keep expecting him to break out dancing to the tune of Smooth Criminal anytime. Well, just my opinion though, some are loving the look I guess. It's just that the hair and the clothes, the poses and the smile are making him look so effiminate- I just have a hard time keeping up my fantasy of him as my macho, yet sensitive gorgeous action hero hehehe. Am sorry bb, I'm like this when I don't get a full night's sleep!
Anyway, last night I was playing all my celphone ringtones and I accidentaly pressed the files I have for the WLS soundtrack, you know esp the piano pieces and I just remembered how poignant that drama was. So many years had passed and I still get so sad- like being pinched in the heart- hearing those haunting strains. The drama has got a lot of flaws along the storyline ( and I believe that the complication upon complication scenarios were done just to stretch out the running time) but no one can deny the gut- kick emotional punch it delivered.See, you got kicked, you got punched- that's how it was and still is with me.
I wish we would see more BYJ works in the future. A movie perhaps, something modern, none too dramatic, give him more action so we see that glorious body at work.
Thanks for always updating us bb. And may I say that when you post food pics here, you always make my mouth water. AArgh! Keep up the good work!!

Life is short, we can't please everyone...since is your lovely little blog, you may blog whatever makes you feel good, that's more than enough for making your life meaningful. And make our life wonderful too, cos we love your writings, your outing with friends, the food, the holiday trips, all the posting making your blog more colourful for us to read.
Even though some bae blogders may leave, you still have new blogders who obsessed with BYJ & got newbies who hooked with KHJ. This is life everything may come & go and the royal wil be remain.
Anyway, all of us being so obsessed a man with so low profile, so we can't do anything. The only things we can do is WAIT.
We appreciate very much all your posting no matter is BYJ or KHJ, is the effort you put in, trying to find all the info for us in the middle of the night while most of us sound asleep.

The first thing I did when I found your blog was to read "bb's picks" and "bb follows YJ's trail". They're really treasures. So well written that once I started, I couldn't stop reading.
They gave us insights into the type of person he is. And that's what made me like him. Quite sure they're instrumental in making many of us his fans. Thanks for all your hard work.

Oh thanks Amy for agreeing with me! I thought for sure somebody would want to scratch my eyes out for making such remarks. I don't know bb if you recall my previous comments from way back, I have already made similar remarks in the past. Yet I find myself looking him up every now and then. I still have this raging curiousity and endless fascination about the man. Maybe one thing good with him keeping a low profile,is that mystery that keeps people forever fascinated. If you go comparing him with all these international actors, byj looks more the executive type --that is until you see how he photographs. With new fresh faces that stream television these days, I believe he's one of the most beautiful, captivating faces I have seen. I just wish...well, that he would surprise us not just with a fresh new look... just something to give his fans a pleasant jolt.And I would dearly love to see him in a movie again.A romantic comedy with action wouldn't be so bad. I just wish he would go out of this shell he's painted himself into. Don't feel sad for some of bae fans' leaving. You've done your best and still are doing a great job. You've been one of the greatest bae writers and STILL you are. You gave/are giving them so much joy and fun. They owe you alot.
If they leave just because you add to blog about the 4D prince, it's their choice. On the other hand, lots of bae fans welcome your blogging about KHJ and support you silently. They enjoy both BYJ and KHJ's news. What's wrong with this?
I believe most bae fans wouldn't leave BYJ in their deep heart easily even though they show interest in new idols and are hooked on someone else. This may be possible because it's BYJ whom they had loved, love and will love for such a long time ahead like first love.
