[KHJ] who's who in SS501
newbie to SS501 said here that she's having problem identifying who's who in the group. and when hyun joong's in the group, she can't seem to figure out which one's him...hmmm... sure, no worries, i'll be patient. am thinking it could be because his hairstyle keeps changing, and he can look so different with different style, different length, and different colour. maybe that's where the problem is.... coz normally one should have no problem identifying him....
let me try... now there're five boys in SS501:
- kim hyun joong (HJL, L for leader coz he's the leader of the band)
- kim hyung joon (HJB, B for baby coz he's the youngest of them all)
- kim kyu jong (some people did say that he looks a teeny weeny bit like hyun joong lately coz of the similar 'jihoo' haircut')
- park jung min (aka sexy charisma or horse / mal)
- heo young saeng (he's usually the one with the not-as-nice hairdo imho... and i think he does have problem keeping his hair styled. remember he always reached for the hat to cover his hair during the TYFWMU shows.
here're some individual shots of the boys. i've tried to give you the older pics coz i think you should have no problem recognizing them from the more recent shots since there're more recent ones than there are older ones...
kim hyun joong (HJL)
two things to look out for mainly, his (beautiful!!) eyes and full lips! okay, okay, sometimes his eyebags are also a major giveaway, haha! if he's sitting down, chances are his legs are crossed at the knees. and oh, some fans have also commented about his nostrils (one seems to be bigger than the other...?)
kim hyung joon (HJB)
hmm.. i think his brows are quite outstanding, very thick and very black. and he also seems to be the fairer one amongst them. and oh, his cute teeth can also be a 'trademark'.
kim kyu jong
when they first started out, the boys would sometimes tease kyu jong about his less fashionable ways. seems like he was from a small town and he looked like he was from a small town, if you know what i mean. but i guess he's changed and has now matured into a rather goodlooking chap. btw he's always very gentle, well-mannered and well-behaved. the thoughtful type, i guess.
park jung min
although i think all of them are short-sighted, jung min seems to wear glasses 'in public' more often than the rest. but anyway, i think his eyes are quite nice and special. if it's an interview, chances are he's the one who does most of the talking. this is especially so for japanese programs since his command of the language seems to be better than the rest.
heo young saeng
he has a great voice, and i guess god is fair. hehe, 'nuff said.
next i will be posting some group pics and i'll put their initials right below the pics. go through all of them, and i think you should have no problem identifying who's who after that.

Yes, Hyun Joong is the best looking and most attractive one. I love him already with BOF alone. I am going to watch WGM this weekend. What should I do after I watch WGM??

hi bb! SS501 newbie here. WOW!!! thanks so much! thanks for taking the time to search and post the pictures and labeling their respective names. GREAT! now i can really tell them apart. love watching them on youtube. especially the old one when they were trying to speak english! Thanks again bb!
