it seems like different people are obsessed with different things. while some westerners believe there's a correlation between personalities and zodiac signs, some chinese swear by their chinese birth signs... and in japan and korea, quite many people think there's a correlation between a person's personality traits and his or her blood type. it's not been proven that there's really a link between blood types and personalities, although there seems to be a link between blood types and diseases, oopsies...!anyhow, here're some quick statistics...
- roughly 38% of the world is O +ve and 6% O -ve.
- roughly 34% of the world is A +ve and 6% A -ve.
- roughly 9% of the world is B +ve and 2% B -ve.
- roughly 4% of the world is AB +ve and 1% AB -ve.
you want more numbers? koreans have the largest number of type A’s (34 percent), followed by type O’s (28 percent), type B’s (27 percent), and type AB’s (11 percent). Type A’s are the most common among the japanese (38 percent), while the chinese comprise a particularly large number of type O’s (42 percent), except in the beijing area, where type B’s are the majority (32 percent). In europe, on the other hand, type O’s are the most common among the british (47 percent), and type A’s the most common among the french (47 percent).
